DYNAMITE DANCER!
The faculty at The Backstage Studio is excited to introduce MAKIA MILLER as the studio's "Dynamite Dancer"!
Makia has exhibited dedication and growth in the recent weeks. She has brought a great attitude to class and has demonstrated a commitment to dance that deserves recognition. She is involved in most classes at The Backstage Studio, including Performance Company and Competition Team. Currently, Makia is learning a duet with Whitney Haney through the leadership and choreography of Ashley Ledezma (Studer).
Makia's favorite subject in school is Math. Her favorite color is lime green. She loves to snack on grapes, and her favorite dance style is lyrical. "Dance has given me more confidence in myself," says Makia. Her birthday is coming up soon on January 20th!

Bi-weekly, we will select a student that has demonstrated outstanding qualities as a student at Backstage Studio. These qualities include a great work ethic, a positive attitude, and abiding by the dress code! As a result of being and excellent student the Dynamite Dancer will have their picture displayed in the window for the community to see!

These qualities include a great work ethic, a positive attitude, and abiding by the dress code! As a result of being and excellent student the Dynamite Dancer will have their picture displayed in the window for the community to see!
Emmie's favorite subject is literature. Her favorite color is any shade of purple. She loves to snack on cucumbers with ranch dressing. The two styles of dance she loves the most are Lyrical and Ballet (it's a tie :)). Emmie is 11 years old.
