Ashley Ledezma (Studer)
Teacher

Ashley is a graduate of the University of Akron where she received her Bachelors Degree in Dance Performance with a focus on choreography.  Ashley was a member of the University Dance Company and worked with choreographers such as Tom Smith, David Parsons, Nora Chipaumire, David Shimotakahara, and Doug Varone.  Ashley was also named best student choreographer in 2007 and has had work appear at the American College Dance Festival.  Most recently, Ashley has had the opportunity to learn from some of today's top choreographers including Mia Michaels, Travis Wall, Tessandra Chavez, and Kate Jablonski.

While in school, Ashley spent a semester volunteering with the R.O.A.D (Reach Out and Dance) Program and was an instructor/choreographer for the Joy Park Outreach Program and the Skyline Terrace Outreach Program sharing her passion for dance with underprivileged youth ages 5-17.  Ashley began her Drum Corps Career at 15 with the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps.  She marched there for six years(01-06) and was the Color guard Captain for the last three years.  Ashley marched in Juxtaposition Winter guard for 6 years and served as the choreographer and a technician in 2009.  Ashley is a former choreographer for the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps and the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps as well as several marching bands and winter guards throughout Ohio.
